Local Networks. Large Impact.

OHDSI Ireland - National Node

Local Collaboration. European Impact.

OHDSI Ireland was established in 2025 as an allisland national node, bringing together the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland within a shared community for observational health data science. It spans two jurisdictions with distinct health systems and data landscapes, creating a forum for crossjurisdictional collaboration and alignment.

The Node brings together researchers, healthcare organisations, public bodies, infrastructure providers, and patient and public representatives to build expertise in OHDSI methods and support adoption of the OMOP Common Data Model. It offers a trusted ecosystem to address local challenges, promote data harmonisation and best practice, and connect Irish initiatives to the wider OHDSI Europe community.
