OHDSI Europe Community Calls
The OHDSI Europe Community Calls are held each second Thursday of the month at 13:00 CET. The calls bring together researchers, clinicians, and data holders from across Europe to connect, collaborate, and share knowledge.
These calls serve as a complement to the weekly OHDSI Global Community Calls on Tuesday's at 11:00 ET and provide a dedicated forum to discuss topics specifically relevant to Europe. Sessions include presentations on European collaborations and projects, updates from the National Nodes and the European community.

During the July 2026 Community Call, we completed our OH!-Factor series with the winning pitch from the OHDSI Europe Symposium: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲: 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗠𝗢𝗣 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, presented by Renske Los. Dec. 11, 2025: Vocabularies in Europe
The Dec. 2025 Europe Community Call focused on a trio of vocabulary initiatives:
- Semiautomatic mapping of a national drug terminology to standardised OMOP drug concepts using publicly available supplementary information (Agota Meszaros)
- Introducing the Belgian vocabulary team (Freija Descamps)
- On RxNorm Extension and how to add a vocabulary to it (Anna Ostropolets)
